Birthday gift

I gave this as a birthday gift for my dad. He said, the advertisement was right. The cake was to die for.

Hello Thomas, thank you for choosing our cake as a birthday gift for your dad. We are delighted to hear that he enjoyed it! We look forward to serving you again in the future.- June

Gift

Was a gift for a friend and her family. They always enjoy gifts from your company. Cake pricing is pretty steep based on the actual size received,

Chocolate Cake.

Was ok but the chocolate was not as tasty , I guess not rich enough.

Hi Jesse! Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! We apologize that the Death by Chocolate Cake did not meet your expectations. We hope to earn your business again soon! Happy New Year!

my review was removed

I am a little upset about this.... I LOVE Chicago steak company and have turned my parents onto this and my grandma. Chicago steak company is not cheap but man is it GOOD the only thing I had that was terrible was this cake. I wrote a review of my honest opinion of the cake and Chicago steak company replied "Thank you for this review. I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations this time and hope you will accept our sincerest apologies. We are committed to providing great customer service and we would like to make things right. A customer service manager will be reaching out to you shortly to discuss a solution with you. Thank you so much for your patience." I never heard from anyone but didn't bother me much as I wasn't looking for my money back or anything. Well I was looking through deserts again and reviews and notice my review had magically disappeared from the death by chocolate cake. I am blown away if they initially removed the review and who else have they done that for and which other products did they do that?

YUMMY!

Just decadent!

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that we met your expectations! Welcome to the Chicago Steak family. - Abigail

Death By Chocolate Cake

it was good

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our chocolate cake! We hope to be serving you again in the future and happily welcome you to the Chicago Steak family! - Abigail

Decent but overpriced

Let me start off by saying I have purchased a lot of stuff from Chicago steak company in the short time I have been a member and everything I have had has been excellent. I thought the cake at 50 dollars (on sale) was expensive but I thought if it's anything like the rest of there stuff it would be totally worth the price. My wife and I bough enjoyed the cake but it certainly isn't a 50-70 dollar cake for the size or how good it was. Don't get me wrong it was good but it's something I can get at a local store for half the price and twice as big. I wanted to try the red velvet next but don't think I will spend the money. I will continue to buy other stuff from them but I am going to pass on the dessert.

Aunt loved the cake but

Aunt loved the cake but I'm not to happy with the steak deal I wanted the 8 bone in ribeyes for 499.95 but tour operator could not find it for me even though I tried to explain its in your catalog finally I gave up and ordered 2 orders of 4 for 275.00 ,50 bucks more than your Catolog offered also I was hung up on once and 2 Nd time your computer wasn't working then I called the next day to fulfill my orders your product is excellent but getting it is traumatizing better luck next time I hope
