Guaranteed Fresh Seafood
At Maine Lobster House, we only offer the freshest seafood options. All of our seafood products are vacuum wrapped and flash frozen in their natural juices to lock in the flavor. If you're looking for the very best seafood on the market, then you've come to the right place.
One of the most highly prized fish is the Yellowfin Tuna, also known as Ahi. Well known for its firm and lean meat, the medium-flavored tuna cut is ideal for sushi and even consuming nearly rare! It doesn't get better than our Yellowfin Tuna.
Plan ahead. Make sure you thaw your frozen seafood in the refrigerator before cooking.
Preheat your oven to 450 F.
Season your yellowfin tuna with salt & pepper, or other seasonings depending on your taste.
Lightly oil the pan you wish to use when cooking the tuna.
Place the tuna in the oven and let cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove the tuna from the oven and let sit for 3 minutes, be sure to cover with a lid in order to keep the temperature warm.
After you let sit for 3 minutes, eat and enjoy!
The Perfect Pairing
There are so many kinds of fish to choose from that it can be a challenge to know what wine will work best with your favorites. Ultimately, we can separate fish into two categories: Very fishy flavors and subtler fishy flavors. When it comes to serving Yellowfin Tuna the perfect complimentary wine would be a glass of Rosé, Pinot Noir, or champagne.
