Mushroom Sauce Recipe for Steak
  • 8Oz sliced mushrooms
  • 2Tbsp Butter
  • 1Splash Dry Red WineAvoid cooking wine and instead open up a bottle you’d enjoy with dinner. If you wouldn’t drink it, don’t cook with it!
  • 1Cup Beef Broth
  • 2Tbsp Flour
  • 3Tbsp Cold Water
  1. Sautee mushrooms in a heavy bottom pan or skillet for 4-5 minues
  2. Add wine and beef broth
  3. Reduce heat and allow to simmer on low to medium for 10 minutes
  4. Combine flour and water in a separate bowl
  5. Slowly whisk in flour/water combo into the sauteed mushrooms to thicken sauce
  6. Add sauce on top of steaks and enjoy
