Let the roast rest on the counter for up to 30 minutes so it comes closer to room temperature. While the roast is resting, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all of the seasonings together. Rub the surface of the roast with the oil, then the seasonings.
Set the roast on a roasting pan with a rack and put it into the oven.
Cook the roast for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature is at least 135 degrees F.
Cover and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
Remove, let stand under cover for 10 minutes, and then slice and serve.
