No ratings yet

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb beef round steak, tenderized
  • 2 tbsp H1 swiss steak seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Sprinkle the tenderized steak with the seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Add the steak and sear it for 2-3 minutes on each side until nicely browned.
  • Set aside the steaks.
  • Combine the chopped thyme, rosemary, and parsley in a small bowl.
  • Sprinkle the herb mixture evenly over the top of the steak.
  • Place the baking dish in the oven and roast. Cooking time should be around 15-20 minutes for medium-rare or until your desired level of doneness.
  • Remove the steak from the oven and rest before slicing.
  • Serve with your favorite side dishes like mashed potatoes or grilled vegetables, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Tenderize the steak before seasoning to ensure the flavors penetrate the meat.
  • Adjust cooking time according to the thickness of the steak and your desired level of doneness. Use a meat thermometer for more precise readings.
