Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the broiler by setting your oven to broil and adjusting the rack to the highest position.
  • Line the broiler pan with aluminum foil, making sure you lightly grease the surface to prevent the meat from sticking.
  • Pat the pork steaks dry with paper towels and generously season them on both sides with your seasoning blend.
  • Place the seasoned pork steaks on the broiler pan and position the pan in the oven, directly under the broiler.
  • Broil the pork steaks for about 4-6 minutes per side until they develop a golden-brown crust and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) for medium doneness. You may have to adjust the cooking time depending on how thick the pork cuts are.
  • Once the internal temperature is reached, remove the steaks from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving with your favorite side dishes.
