Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. fresh asparagus
  • 10-12 slices of bacon
  • optional seasonings: olive oil, garlic powder, black pepper, or a drizzle of balsamic glaze

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  • Trim the woody ends of the asparagus spears. Group 2-3 spears together, and wrap each bundle tightly with a strip of bacon, starting at one end and spiraling to the other.
  • Place the bundles on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down. For added flavor, brush lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with seasonings.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with a drizzle of balsamic glaze or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese for extra flair.
