Preheat your oven to 375°F or 190°C.
While the oven is heating up, sprinkle your chosen dry rub, salt, and pepper all over the pork steaks. Press them in to better coat them in flavor.
Heat up a splash of olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over high heat. Sear both sides of your pork steaks for about 2 minutes until you achieve a nice brown crust.
Brush both sides of the steaks with a generous amount of BBQ sauce. Don’t be afraid to use a lot!
Carefully place the skillet into your preheated oven. Let the pork steaks bake for roughly 15-20 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) at the thickest part. Don't forget to brush more BBQ sauce halfway through the baking time.
Once the BBQ pork steaks are done, rest them for a few minutes before slicing and serving them.
