Crock-Pot Pepperoncini Pot Roast

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ~4lbs Chuck or top round roast
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 jar pepperoncini peppers and a few splashes of the juice
  • 1 oz packet of brown gravy mix or au jus mix
  • 1 oz packet ranch dressing mix

Instructions
 

  • Let the roast come to room temperature, which should take around 30 minutes.
  • Place the roast in the Crock Pot. Pile the peppers on top, sprinkle the roast with the two packets of seasoning, and balance the butter so it’s in the center of the roast. Pour the water around the roast.
  • Set the Crock Pot to low. Cook for 6 to 8 hours or until tender enough to fall apart.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Using reduced sodium mixes and none of the Pepperoncini juice can reduce the saltiness of the dish.
