1poundof Strauss® Ground Beef, formed into 2 8-ounce patties
½yellow onion, raw or caramelized
3strips of crisp cooked bacon
2slices of provolone cheese
2slices of cheddar cheese
2brioche buns
2tbspof avocado oil
2thinly sliced Strauss Chicken Breasts
½seeded and thickly sliced red bell pepper
½seeded and thickly sliced yellow bell pepper
½each thickly sliced green zucchini and yellow squash
1cupof trimmed broccoli
3tbspof coconut aminos
1tbspof sriracha
½cupof peanuts
2cupsof cooked and drained lentilscilantro leaves for garnishsea
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Sauce: Combine all of the ingredients together in a small bowl and whisk. Keep cool until ready to serve.
Burgers: Preheat the grill to high heat (450° to 550°).
Season the burgers generously on both sides with salt and pepper.
Add the seasoned burgers to a hot grill and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until dark grill marks have formed and the desired internal temperature is achieved.
Finish by adding on each cheese to the burgers.
To Plate: Place the cheese burger on to the bottom bun and layer on the bacon, caramelized or raw onions, mayonnaise sauce and top bun.
