Ingredients
  • 410 oz Premium Angus Ribeye Steaks
  • 1/4cup Soy Sauce
  • 3tbsp Orange Juicefreshly squeezed
  • 1tbsp Orange Zest
  • 2tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2tbsp Honey
  • 2tbsp White Vinegar
  • 1/2cup Crushed Pineapple(Optional) 1/2 cup for topping
  • 1/4cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 1/2tsp Cayenne pepper
Instructions
  1. To make the marinade, mix together the soy sauce, orange juice, orange zest, honey, brown sugar, white vinegar, barbecue sauce, cayenne pepper, and crushed pineapple in a medium bowl until all ingredients are combined. The marinade should be similar to the consistency of thin syrup.
  2. Place the ribeye steaks in a container or freezer bag in a single layer. Pour the marinade over the steaks and allow to sit in the refrigerator for several hours, preferably 12 or more for the best results.
  3. Remove marinated steaks from the refrigerator and keep them at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat your grill to high. Add steaks to the grill and sear for about 3 minutes on each side. Then, move them to a low-heat area of the grill and continue cooking for another 5 minutes or so until they come to your desired doneness.
  5. If desired, top each steak with leftover crushed pineapple and drizzled marinade.
Recipe Notes

An electric grill can also be used for this recipe but be sure to heat it to its highest setting before adding steaks. Each ribeye should only need about 5 minutes of cook time on an electric grill that cooks on both sides simultaneously. However, nothing quite beats the flavor you get from this marinade when it’s cooked on a gas or charcoal grill! We have other delicious ribeye options, too, like our USDA Prime Wet-Aged Ribeye, USDA Prime Dry-Aged Ribeye, and American Wagyu Ribeye, each of which deliver on the flavor and quality you expect from us at Chicago Steak Company. Order steak online today to have it ready to cook by the end of the week!
