Although we clean and debone our fish, always be on the lookout for bone fragments when thawing and preparing fish.

Cooking

Cooking Tips

Plan ahead. Make sure you thaw your frozen seafood in the refrigerator before cooking.
Preheat your oven to 375 F.
Season your bass with salt & pepper, or other seasonings depending on your taste.
Lightly oil the pan you wish to use when cooking the bass.
Place the bass in the oven and let cook for 20 to 25 minutes, depending on the thickness of the filets.
Remove the bass from the oven and let sit for 3 minutes, be sure to cover with a lid in order to keep the temperature warm.
After you let sit for 3 minutes, eat and enjoy!

There are so many kinds of fish to choose from that it can be a challenge to know what wine will work best with your favorites. Ultimately, we can separate fish into two categories: Very fishy flavors and subtler fishy flavors.When it comes to serving Chilean Sea Bass the perfect complimentary wine would be a glass of Pinot Gris, or another favored white wine.
