Giving the Very Best

Send someone the Ultimate Steak Experience and know you are sending the very best. Each steak is aged up to 6 weeks and hand-cut by our artisan butchers and then flash-frozen to lock in flavor. Your shipment will be individually registered with a unique registration number included in your order.

Cooking Instructions

How to Cook Your Steak – Quick Guide

Thawing
If frozen, thaw your steak in a pan under refrigeration for about 24 hours to catch any natural drippings.

Season & Handle
Season just before cooking. Always use tongs when flipping—never a fork, which can puncture the steak and lose some of those flavorful juices.

Resting
After cooking, let your steak rest for at least 5 minutes so the juices redistribute evenly.

Steak Cooking Tips

Below are a few additional pointers to help you get the most out of your steak:

1. Know the cut.
Steaks are most tender and flavorful when cooked to the proper doneness- avoid overcooking.

2. Preheat well.
Your grill or broiler to hot. Charcoal should be ashen gray; cast iron should be hot but not smoking.

3. Season simply.
Salt and pepper are all you need- or elevate the flavor with Chicago Steak Company Seasoning.

4. Lightly oil the surface.
This helps prevent sticking and promotes a proper sear.

5. Sear the first side.
Cook until juices begin to bead on the surface, using the Steak Cooking Chart as a guide.

6. Flip & Finish.
The second side cooks faster, so keep a close eye on it.

7. Check Doneness.

Rare: 120°–125° F (very soft; cool red center)
Medium Rare: ~130-135°F (springy, warm red center)
Medium: 140°–145°F (slight resistance; warm pink center)
Well Done: ~160° (firm; little to no pink)

Make sure to measure temperatures at the thickest part of the steak and keep in mind steak temperature will rise 5–10°F during resting (carryover cooking).

8. Rest & serve.
Let the steak rest for at least 5 minutes before serving for a juicy, flavorful result.

All of our steaks are vacuum wrapped and flash frozen in their natural juices to lock in the flavor. The steaks are then wrapped in our attractive food grade paper, sealed with the Chicago Steak Company gold label, and placed in our gorgeous gift box. Those gift boxes are placed inside our reusable insulated cooler with enough dry ice to keep them cold until arrival. Pretty nice assortment.

This is a nice assortment but the ribeyes were pretty thin and one of the flatiron steaks was extremely fatty and wedge-shaped which will make it hard to grill evenly.

You have to try these! They're great!!!

We tried the Ultimate Steak Sampler with steaks and steak burgers. The steak burgers were amazing and all of the steaks were absolutely phenomenal!!! Very tender, great flavor and better than most restaurants. You definitely get what you pay for and we will be ordering again :hearts:Ô∏è

Great way to buy quality Beef

since it is impossible to find a 'prime cut' of beef in the supermarket and there are very few butcher shops left, this was an awesome way to fill the void. Everything was great, would like to see the burgers a little thicker, other than that absolutely great!

Bought the ultimate gourmet sampler with a promotion of BOGO. Impressive amount of steaks and burgers. Their online ordering process is really easy and if you have a quick question, no long waiting on the phone for a rep. Their customer service line is top notch vs the competition. Frustrated and Disappointed

Delivery notification was nonexistent. The product was delivered in 75 degree weather and no one was available to receive it. However, I did receive 10 emails prior to buy more even before the shipment! This is no survey. If it were, it would cover all aspects of the customer experience. Re the quality of the product, average. Feel duped, frustrated and disappointed.

great steaks

Our son had sent us a couple of shipments last year and we loved them so much, we reciprocated and sent him and his family a holiday sampler for Christmas.

We have been customers of Omaha steaks for years, but after receiving our Chicago steak order, we have switched to your company. While a little pricier than Omaha, your product is much better and therefore worth a little more money.

Every year for Christmas I send my brother and sister in law a steak assortment from ya'll. He does a great big BBQ and their kids so look forward to it, I brings them all together for a wonderful meal. Have only tried the top sirloin so far. It was well marbled but just a bit chewy. Had good flavor.
