INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup of mayonnaise
- 2 finely minced garlic cloves
- juice of ½ lemon
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pound of Strauss® Ground Beef
- formed into 2 8-ounce patties
- ½ yellow onion
- raw or caramelized
- 3 strips of crisp cooked bacon
- 2 slices of provolone cheese
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 brioche buns
- 2 tbsp of avocado oil
- 2 thinly sliced Strauss Chicken Breasts
- ½ seeded and thickly sliced red bell pepper
- ½ seeded and thickly sliced yellow bell pepper
- ½ each thickly sliced green zucchini and yellow squash
- 1 cup of trimmed broccoli
- 3 tbsp of coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp of sriracha
- ½ cup of peanuts
- 2 cups of cooked and drained lentilscilantro leaves for garnishsea
- salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Sauce: Combine all of the ingredients together in a small bowl and whisk. Keep cool until ready to serve.
- Burgers: Preheat the grill to high heat (450° to 550°).
- Season the burgers generously on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Add the seasoned burgers to a hot grill and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side or until dark grill marks have formed and the desired internal temperature is achieved.
- Finish by adding on each cheese to the burgers.
- To Plate: Place the cheese burger on to the bottom bun and layer on the bacon, caramelized or raw onions, mayonnaise sauce and top bun.
- Optional Garnish: Lettuce, tomato and pickle.
