INGREDIENTS
- 2 yellow onions
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 tbsp horseradish
- black pepper
- USDA Prime Dry Aged NY Strip Steak
- salt
- to taste
- pepper
- to taste
- baguette
- chives
DIRECTIONS
- Dice yellow onions and sauté over medium heat with butter for 15 minutes, or until onion is translucent
- Add cranberries, brown sugar, and balsamic vinegar
- Stir on medium low heat for 30 minutes until jam like consistency
- While the jam is cooking, combine sour cream, horseradish, and black pepper to taste. Set aside
- While the jam is cooking, season your steak with your favorite seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste
- Grill NY Strip until they reached desired doneness
- Slice baguette and slightly toast on the grill
- To build your crostini: Baguette, cranberry jam, steak, horseradish sauce, chives
