Quick and Hearty Steak Fried Rice Recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. Chicago Steak Company Premium Angus Beef Top Sirloin
- cut into ½-inch thick strips.
- 2 cups of your favorite long-grain rice
- cooked
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 2 cups frozen broccolli
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- 2 garlic cloves
- minced
- salt and pepper
- to taste
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- plus 2 tbsp.
- 2 tsp Sesame Oil
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- plus 1 tsp.
DIRECTIONS
- Whisk eggs with salt and pepper until well blended. Set aside.
- Preheat 10-inch skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the steak, sesame oil, soy sauce, and salt and pepper.
- Add the steak mixture to the pan and cook until browned and slightly cooked, occasionally stirring, for about 3 minutes. Put the steak on a plate and set aside.
- Add 1 tsp. of olive oil to the pan, plus the broccoli, peas, and ginger. Fry, stirring occasionally, until vegetables turn tender (about 5 minutes).
- Add garlic to the pan and stir, cooking for another minute or so until fragrant.
- Add the beaten eggs to the pan and cook for about 30 seconds until done, stirring until crumbled and mixed through the vegetables.
- Bring the sirloin strips back to the pan, along with the cooked rice and 2 tbsp. soy sauce. Stir everything together and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until heated through.
