If you’ve never yet had a steak in the slow cooker, this is going to be one of those times we tell you, “Don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it.”
One of the reasons we love steak so much is because it’s so versatile. You can pan-sear, fry, bake, grill, and broil steak. Virtually no cooking method is out of bounds for ribeye, strip, sirloin, and your other favorite cuts of beef. Yes, that includes slow cooking in a crock pot.
A slow cooker produces some of the tenderest steaks on the planet. Pair a sirloin with tangy teriyaki sauce and stir-fry vegetables, and you have yourself a no-fuss Asian-inspired dinner that’s comforting, satisfying, and perfect for busy evenings.

Recipe Notes
Check the sauce about halfway through cooking. Depending on your crockpot and the vegetables you added, your teriyaki sauce may be a bit runny. If so, mix together 2 tbsp of water and 1 tbsp of cornstarch, add it to the sauce, and stir. Turn the crockpot to high and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes to thicken.
