Guaranteed Fresh Seafood

At Maine Lobster House, we only offer the freshest seafood options. All of our seafood products are vacuum wrapped and flash frozen in their natural juices to lock in the flavor. If you're looking for the very best seafood on the market, then you've come to the right place.

Swordfish

A favorite among the seafood-shy and enlightened connoisseurs as well, swordfish is wonderful whether it is grilled, broiled, baked, or poached. Possessing a hearty, meaty texture along with a mild flavor, Swordfish is right for just about anyone and it is good for you too! Low in fat, low in calories, and rich in omega-3 fatty acids! Our swordfish, like all or our seafood products, is freshly caught in the north-Atlantic, flash frozen for freshness, and shipped straight to your door.

Although we clean and debone our fish, always be on the lookout for bone fragments when thawing and preparing fish.

Cooking Tips

  1. Plan ahead. Make sure you thaw your frozen seafood in the refrigerator before cooking.

  2. Preheat your oven to 425 F.

  3. Season your swordfish with salt & pepper, or other seasonings depending on your taste.

  4. Lightly oil the pan you wish to use when cooking swordfish.

  5. Place the swordfish in the oven and let cook for 15 to 18 minutes.

  6. Remove the swordfish from the oven and let sit for 3 minutes, be sure to cover with a lid in order to keep the temperature warm.

  7. After you let sit for 3 minutes, eat and enjoy!

Wine

The Perfect Pairing

There are so many kinds of fish to choose from that it can be a challenge to know what wine will work best with your favorites. Ultimately, we can separate fish into two categories: Very fishy flavors and subtler fishy flavors. When it comes to serving Salmon the perfect complimentary wine would be a glass of Pinot Noir, or another favored red wine.
