Cooking

Grilling:

Preheat a grill to medium-high heat and brush the shrimp with oil or melted butter. Place the shrimp on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and slightly charred.

Sautéing:

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add some oil or butter. Once the skillet is hot, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and slightly browned.

Boiling:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and float to the surface of the water.

Baking:

Preheat the oven to 375°F and arrange the shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle with oil or melted butter and season with salt, pepper, and any other desired spices. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and slightly browned.

No matter which cooking method is chosen, it is important to not overcook shrimp, as they can become tough and rubbery if cooked for too long. Shrimp are versatile and can be used in a variety of dishes, such as salads, pastas, stir-fries, or simply as a delicious appetizer.

Wine

Shrimp Wine Pairing

A dry rosé can be a refreshing and unexpected pairing for shrimp, with its bright acidity and subtle fruit notes complementing the delicate sweetness of the shrimp.

The effervescence of sparkling wine can provide a lively contrast to the richness of shrimp dishes, making it a great choice for pairing with shrimp cocktail or other appetizers.
