Steakhouse Overview
While Ruth’s Chris and Morton’s have dominated the chain steakhouse game for the past couple decades, The Capital Grille has proved itself a worthy challenger to both in recent years, with a younger-trending clientele and an eye for clubby flourishes. The Hartford location, unfortunately, sometimes fails to live up to the chain’s national reputation, as inconsistencies from the kitchen staff are often reflected in the dishes. Service, on the other hand, is impeccable, and when the dishes come out right, they’re superb.
