While the atmosphere and views are extraordinary, this surf-and-turf outpost, perched on the Hilton’s second floor, has proved a hit with travel writers and food critics, but a lukewarm experience for everyday diners. This seaside spot features a menu drawing on Hawaii’s multicultural background, and with many ingredients locally sourced. In terms of steak, Bali Steak & Seafood serves its offerings – including a ginormous tomahawk ribeye and a more modestly sized filet mignon – with house-made Bali sauce. Non-steak menu highlights include the tuna carpaccio and Kona cold lobster.
