Steakhouse Overview
The Lombardo family name has been synonymous with high-end dining in St. Louis for decades. Carmine’s Steakhouse, family-run since 1934, continues the Lombardo tradition, but does so with a slightly stale, slightly standard ambiance. The results are fairly middle-of-the-road, though Carmine’s history and location (it’s just a stone’s throw away from Busch Stadium and the Gateway Arch), along with its pleasing, if not spectacular, menu, keep the customers flowing. If passing by, trying their specialty appetizer: toasted ravioli.
