Steakhouse Overview
Open since 1932, Charlie’s has the history and pedigree to back up its old school, stick-to-the-basics menu. More modern, adventurous diners are best off going elsewhere, but those who enjoy classic, uncomplicated steakhouse fare – wedge salads, au gratin potatoes, and gigantic slabs of gorgeously seared ribeye and strip – will feel right at home at Charlie’s. The atmosphere of Charlie’s is as classic and spare as its menu – wooden chairs, white tablecloths, simple accoutrements. Order a bold glass of red wine to pair with your steak, and finish off your meal with a slice of Italian ice cream.
