Few restaurants are ritzier or clubbier than those from this Scottsdale based family of upscale steakhouses and eateries. If you’ve eaten at Mastro’s Ocean Club in nearby Newport Coast, you’ll find the menu much the same, with the focus on top-of-the-line steaks and seafood, paired with a wine list deep in international selections. Order up a bottle of red wine and a generously-portioned Prime ribeye, then choose between sides like the Gorgonzola mac ‘n’ cheese or the off-menu lobster mashed potatoes, the latter of which is possibly the tastiest worst-kept secret in Costa Mesa.
