For the Steak
Generously salt and pepper both sides of the steak and allow to rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

Allow steak to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

For the Drizzle
In a small saucepan, bring soy sauce, brown sugar, red wine vinegar, ginger, and cayenne pepper to a rolling boil.
Whisk in corn starch, stirring continuously until dissolved.
Turn temperature to low and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
Add garlic, stir, and simmer for 3 more minutes until garlic is fragrant.
Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes. Drizzle should thicken as it sits.
Recipe Notes
To prepare a lettuce wrap, top a lettuce leaf with a few slices of steak and then carrots. Pour the drizzle generously over the carrots and steak. Enjoy!
